I recently had my basement developed by Tayky Developments. Initially I contacted Colin through his website. I was impressed by the examples of work he had previously done. He came to my home to give me a quote. As soon as I met Colin I knew he was an honest and professional businessman. After a reasonable quote I was confident in hiring him to complete the job.
Throughout the development process
I was informed of all decisions made. When Colin thought of a more
efficient or aesthetically pleasing solution he was willing to share
his ideas. I was pleased with his suggestions and appreciative that he
provided insight.
Colin kept me informed of who was in my home and when. He was punctual and so were the workers entering my home. I never felt that I couldn't tell Colin about something that I wanted changed or different. He was always open to discuss options and we always came to a reasonable solution.
I was pleased that I found a contractor
who was willing to be honest with me, good or bad. It made for no
guesswork and I felt comfortable in my home while work was being done.
He was accommodating, throughout and knowledgeable. I will, and have,
recommended him to people I know. It is nice to find a trustworthy
individual to work in my home. After a very short 6 weeks, my basement
is finished and I love the result.

Colin, I wanted to thank you and your staff for making our basement remodel a reality. As you know we originally dealt with contractors on a separate basis, not going with a "General Contractor." I believed I could save money by going direct. Not only could I not get contractors to show up, they always left a mess and the work performed was incorrect.

am writing you today to let you know how pleased we are with our new
home. We feel your company did a wonderful job as it relates to the
attention to detail, costumer service and timeliness. We are very
pleased that you took the time to design a new home and preserve the
beautiful old tree in the front yard.
You have managed to capture just the right amount of 'new' to mix with
the 'old'. We have added a pave-stone patio in the spacious back yard,
and when we are out back grilling or playing you'll most likely find us
enjoying the covered front porch and friendly neighbourhood.
When we found ourselves with a question or two you were easily accessible and gracious with your time. We most certainly respect that and want you to know how much we appreciate this quality. Every time we have guests in our home it is an honor to hear them point out just one more item that "they really like"--as a home owner I am not sure if you ever get tired of that!

did extensive remodeling on two homes. The first I tried to do myself

way more than I had predicted, and I was never happy how it turned

For the second, I hired Tayky Development to orchestrate the project. I couldn't believe how quickly and smoothly everything went. In the end through his shrewd negotiations with the trades, his thorough understanding of how projects such as mine should progress, and because everything was done right the first time, it actually saved me money!
I used Tayky Development to remodel my home in 2009. I was very happy with the level of workmanship and customer care. He was willing and available to meet with me anytime to discuss and resolve any concerns that came up, and made absolutely sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. The work was completed in a timely manner, with minimal disruption to our day to day family life.
